Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a premier VAG performance workshop in the Redhill area. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda vehicles, and contribute to performance tuning in a supportive, enthusiast-driven environment.

The role requires NVQ2/3 or solid time-served experience, proven VAG know-how, a full UK driving licence and your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or solid time-served workshop experience.
• Proven experience on VAG (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda) vehicles or specialist performance setups.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on VW Group vehicles.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and performance upgrades as required.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault-finding to component level.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and ensure quality workmanship.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) + performance incentives
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM — STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS
• Perks: 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays (with 3 days held back for the annual Christmas shutdown), workplace pension scheme, and full uniform provided
• Workload: Specialist servicing, diagnostics, mechanical maintenance, and performance upgrades across Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and related VAG models in a dedicated, enthusiast-driven workshop
