Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist in our Guildford workshop, you will:

• Perform specialized routine servicing, timing chains, cambelts, and preventative maintenance strictly to manufacturer guidelines.
• Utilize factory-level online diagnostic systems to systematically troubleshoot, isolate, and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Execute major mechanical repairs, including advanced braking overhauls, custom suspension setups, clutches, gearboxes, and drivetrain maintenance.
• Support performance tuning projects and remapping work as part of an authorized performance specialist technical team.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 (or time-served equivalent) with strong, proven hands-on experience on VAG group platforms (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
• Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential for road testing vehicles. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
• Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks. Superior diagnostic troubleshooting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for VAG engineering.
