Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Medway is seeking a results-driven Car Sales Controller to lead the used car department. You will drive performance, coach a driven sales team, and capitalize on strong growth across iconic brands.

The role offers £30,000 base with OTE £50,000+, Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30, Saturdays 08:30–17:00, with a weekday off in lieu and Sundays on a 1 in 3 rota, plus a competitive bonus scheme, company vehicle, ongoing manufacturer training, clear career progression pathways, and generous

• Salary: £30,000 basic salary with a realistic, uncapped OTE of £50,000+
• Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour unpaid lunch break); Saturdays 08:30 – 17:00 (with a weekday off in lieu); Sundays 10:00 – 16:00 on a 1 in 3 rota

What you will be doing:

• Managing day-to-day performance of the used car department to meet and exceed profitability and volume targets
• Selling new and used vehicles directly while actively closing deals and maximizing commission potential
• Supporting, coaching, and motivating the sales team to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction standards
• Overseeing stock presentation, competitive pricing, digital online listings, and part-exchange appraisals
• Monitoring lead management systems to ensure fast, efficient follow-up on all customer enquiries
• Requirements: Proven experience in automotive sales (Controller, Senior Executive, or Management level) and a full UK driving licence
