This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm demeanour, and a passion for helping others.
The successful candidate will be working variable hours between 7:15am - 10:15pm Monday to Sunday (bank holidays inclusive) on reception in our Urgent Treatment centre (UTC) or (CAU) to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all units through the co-ordination and provision of high standards of reception and clerical services.

Key Responsibilitiesa) Provides feedback about how reception and administrative procedures work in practice in the UTC to help with identifying improvements.b) Books patients that attend the UTC onto the computer system and makes appointments for follow up clinics. Assists with photocopying and posting of letters as required to various agencies.c) Assists new staff recruited to the reception team by demonstrating own duties and explaining procedures and standards.d) Participates in the performance development review process, and attends training courses that are mandatory and for personal development.e) Has a responsibility in ensuring the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of patients, relatives and colleagues is respected at all times or responsibility for the maintenance of equipment, buildings or other physical assets.
