Job summary

NHS Crawley UTC is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first contact for patients and visitors at Crawley Hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, a calm demeanour and a passion for helping others.

You will operate between 7:15am and 10:15pm, seven days a week including bank holidays, providing reception and clerical support, coordinating flow across UTC/CAU, and ensuring a high standard of service. Real living wage is included in the salary.

Qualifications

• School leaving qualification (GCSE or equivalent) in maths and English language or able to demonstrate equivalent competence or experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in business administration or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Receives patients and visitors and provides information per procedures.
• Ensures office tidiness and resolves issues.
• Performs admin tasks as assigned.
• Attends team meetings within the service.
• Formats letters and reports and handles photocopying and mail.
