Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting is recruiting an Interim Accounts Assistant for a longstanding client in Indian Queens. The role is full-time on a 3-month contract to start ASAP, supporting a software implementation backlog and busy period.

The successful candidate will assist with management accounts, bank reconciliations, supplier accounts, AR, month-end journals, accruals and prepayments, stock takes and general ledger tasks, collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure timely closes.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience in a similar environment (part/full-time acceptable).
• Solid understanding of cloud-based systems and ERP software, ideally NetSuite.
• Proficient MS Excel with good spreadsheet manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller and the wider team in preparing management accounts.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Inputting and amending supplier accounts.
• Assist with all aspects of accounts receivable.
• Month end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Support the finance analyst team.
• Assist with stock takes.
• Cover the work of the wider finance team as required.
