Job summary

Fcms Nw in Morecambe is seeking a highly motivated Driver/Receptionist for our Urgent Treatment Centre. The role combines driving duties to support the GP Out of Hours service with frontline reception responsibilities for patients and visitors.

The position is permanent. The standard rate is £13.00 per hour, with enhancements payable: +30% on Saturdays up to midnight and +60% on Sundays, with additional development and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide driving service to support GP Out of Hours service while delivering high-quality reception experience for patients and visitors.
• Use patient record systems and complete routine administrative tasks.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Support effective operation of the service through stock management of medical equipment and medication supplies.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility for overnight shifts.
• Commit to ongoing training and development.
