Job summary

HealthHero Integrated Care in Swindon is recruiting an Urgent Care Assistant on a part-time, permanent basis. The role combines driving and reception duties to support NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours services, across Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset.

Shift patterns include evenings, overnights and weekends; rotas are discussed at interview. You will work closely with clinicians and operations colleagues, providing non-clinical support, handling patient interactions, welfare checks

Qualifications

• Part-time, permanent Urgent Care Assistant role.
• Well organised, hardworking and personable.
• Full UK Driving Licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinicians to patients' homes safely and legally.
• Be first point of contact at treatment centres and assist clinicians on shift.
• Manage stock and medications; replenish car stock after shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the treatment centre.
• Record medications and consumables accurately.
