Job summary

HealthHero Integrated Care in Swindon is seeking an Urgent Care Assistant to support driving, reception and base duties within the Integrated Urgent Care service across Wiltshire, Swindon and surrounding areas on a part-time, permanent basis.

The role requires flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and overnight sessions (23:00–08:00). You will work in a 24/7 service, providing non-clinical support to clinicians and patients via NHS 111 referrals and GP out-of-hours pathways.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Customer-focused and compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinicians to patients’ homes and conduct vehicle checks.
• Act as first point of contact at treatment centres and support clinicians.
• Manage reception duties and patient communications.
• Maintain stock and medications; assist with stock rotation.
