Job summary
Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust in Ripon is seeking an experienced Clinical Support Worker to join the Urgent Treatment Centre team at Ripon Hospital. You will work alongside Urgent Care Practitioners delivering high-quality patient care.
The role combines clinical and receptionist duties, including registering and booking patients on the electronic system, triage support, and assisting with minor injuries and illnesses. NHS Band 3 permanent, part-time, Agenda for Change.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate with relevant experience.
- Moving and Handling Certificate.
- Basic Life Support Certificate.
- Previous experience in urgent or emergency care.
- Cannulation and venepuncture.
Responsibilities
- Registering and booking patients into the electronic patient system.
- Support triage and UCP teams in assessment and treatment of minor injuries and illness.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high standards of patient care.
