Job summary

HealthHero is recruiting an Urgent Care Assistant in Swindon to support Integrated Urgent Care services across Wiltshire, Swindon and surrounding areas. The role combines driving and reception duties in a flexible, part-time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will work a rolling rota with evenings and overnight shifts (23:00–08:00), with a DBS and valid UK driving licence required. Training will be provided and opportunities exist for occasional extra hours to meet service demand.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points) is essential.
• Strong administration and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to interact with patients with compassion and respect.
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency or stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Clinicians to patients’ homes and conduct basic vehicle checks.
• Be the first point of contact at Treatment Centres and support clinicians.
• Manage stock and documentation for medications and consumables.
