HealthHero Integrated Care is recruiting an Urgent Care Assistant for its Integrated Urgent Care service across Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset. The role pairs driving clinicians to patients' homes with reception work at treatment centres, keeping medication and consumables stock in order.

It is part-time and permanent with a rota of weekday evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. Applicants need a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points and an enhanced

Qualifications

• Good level of driving experience.
• Confidence interacting with patients, relatives and carers.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong administration skills.
• Personable, engaging and reassuring manner.
• Working confidently under pressure in emergency or stressful situations.

Responsabilités

• Drive clinicians to patients' homes safely and legally.
• Act as first point of contact for patients, carers and relatives at treatment centres.
• Support clinicians while on shift.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone, including welfare checks.
• Maintain stock levels of medication and consumables using computer systems.
• Record medications and consumables used on shift.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks at start/end of shifts.
• Replenish car stock at end of each shift.
• Check stock rotation and expiry dates on weekly deliveries.
• Keep the treatment centre clean and tidy.
• Move and carry emergency equipment and deliver CPR when required.
• Provide non-clinical support to clinicians and patients using NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours.
