Job summary

Envision Education is seeking Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Windsor primary schools. You will help with learning activities, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and assist teachers with classroom duties.

No formal TA qualification is required. Based in Windsor or able to commute. Working hours 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Previous experience with children or vulnerable individuals is welcome, with a patient, reliable and team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Willing to learn and develop within a school environment.
  • Experience supporting individuals with SEND or additional needs is advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential.

We welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals. Your previous experience could be highly transferable to a school environment.

You may have previously worked as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Carer, Youth Worker, Childcare Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Residential Support Worker, Sports Coach, Mentor, Healthcare Assistant or in another role involving children or young people.

The Role

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support

  • Helping pupils understand and complete learning tasks

  • Supporting children with SEND and additional needs

  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive social skills

  • Supporting positive behaviour within the classroom

What We're Looking For
  • No formal Teaching Assistant qualification is required

  • Must be based in Windsor or willing to commute to Windsor
