Job summary

Envision Education in Enfield seeks an Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a mainstream primary school and its SEN unit. Immediate start, no formal TA/SEND qualifications required, but UK experience is essential.

You will work 1:1, in small groups, and in classrooms, aiding teachers, fostering inclusion and pupil engagement while developing confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months' experience working with children in the UK.
• A genuine interest in supporting children with SEND.
• A patient, caring and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• No formal qualifications are required for this unqualified position.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to commute to Enfield.

Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start

We are working with a supportive, inclusive mainstream primary school in Enfield with a dedicated SEN unit, and we are looking for a caring, committed Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and is looking to develop their experience within a primary school setting. No formal teaching assistant or SEND qualification is required, but candidates must have at least 3 months' experience working with children in the UK.

You will provide support across the school, including within the SEN unit, working closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils engage with learning and develop their confidence and independence.
