We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring individuals who can provide effective classroom support and help pupils engage with their learning, develop their confidence and reach their full potential.
You do not necessarily need a formal Teaching Assistant qualification to apply. If you have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals, your skills and experience could be highly transferable to a classroom environment.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in care work, support work, childcare, nursery settings, youth work, residential care, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring, behaviour support, SEN support, healthcare or community and family support.

As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils throughout the school day and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and learning
Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
Helping pupils understand and complete classroom tasks
Supporting pupils who require additional help with their learning
Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
Encouraging pupils to participate in lessons and remain engaged with their learning
Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills
Supporting positive behaviour and helping pupils manage their emotions
Providing additional support to pupils who may require a more individualised approach
Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation of learning resources
Working alongside teachers and other school staff to support pupils' individual needs
Building positive, professional and trusting relationships with pupils
Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming classroom environment
Supporting pupils with their individual learning and developmental goals
Must be based in High Wycombe or willing to commute to High Wycombe
Available to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Confident supporting pupils with different needs and abilities
Able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with pupils
Reliable, professional and committed
Able to work effectively as part of a classroom team
Comfortable taking direction from teachers and using your initiative when required
Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
Interested in developing a career within education
Previous school or classroom experience is desirable but not essential.
We welcome candidates with transferable experience from care, support work, childcare, nursery, youth work, residential settings, healthcare, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring or similar roles.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or other relevant education qualification is advantageous, but not essential for all opportunities.
