Job summary

Admirals Reach Care Home in Chelmsford is recruiting an Unit Manager to lead a care unit and develop a skilled team. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently and in line with care plans, regulatory requirements and documentation standards.

You will oversee team performance, medication processes and daily records, working closely with the Home Manager, families and professionals to maintain a safe, well-organised and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience leading or managing a care team.

Responsibilities

• As Unit Manager, lead and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the unit and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing, medication processes and care plan alignment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support clear communication with families and colleagues.
