Job summary

Admirals Reach Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Unit Manager to lead and develop a care team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across the unit.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure care plans and records meet regulatory standards, support the Home Manager, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining effective communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Previous experience leading or managing a care team.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and accountable approach to care delivery.
• Caring, compassionate and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the unit.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and records are up to date.
• Support Home Manager and liaise with families and healthcare professionals.
