Compass Group UK is seeking aUnit Manager in Luton to oversee a high-performing team and ensure smooth store operations. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week and offers a salary of £32,000 per annum with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead and develop staff, maintain brand standards, manage stock and costs, and drive exceptional customer service while collaborating with central teams on campaigns and new product launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the shop floor and service areas run smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-presented environment at all times.
• Manage stock levels, product availability, and merchandising standards to maximise sales and minimise waste.
• Drive commercial performance through effective planning, accurate forecasting, and strong cost control.
• Ensure customers receive an outstanding shopping experience by responding to feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining excellent service levels.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with values, focusing on operational efficiency, colleague engagement, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with central teams to deliver seasonal campaigns, promotional activity, and new product launches effectively.
• Support colleague training and development, ensuring all team members are confident, capable, and aligned with service expectations

• Salary: £32,000 per annum
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Unit Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
