Job summary

Airbus UK is offering an undergraduate placement in the Materials Laboratory based in Broughton, Wales. You will join a team performing mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and metallurgical investigations, while gaining exposure to COSHH and data reporting.

A degree path in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required, and you must be an undergraduate for the full placement period.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students only for the duration of the placement.
• Must be pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Interface with operational teams and support functions.
• Gather data through investigations and literature reviews.
• Design and carry out experiments.
• Analyse and interpret results of technical work and testing.
• Maintain data integrity and records.
• Identify and implement improvements to daily laboratory operations.
