Job summary

Airbus's Materials Laboratory in Broughton, North Wales, offers an undergraduate placement starting 16 August 2027 for 12.5 months. You will work with engineering teams, design and run experiments, and analyze data to support material testing and processes.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, with strong teamwork, rigorous adherence to processes, and solid laboratory and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of placement.
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow processes.
• Laboratory experience and analytical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with operational teams and support functions.
• Gather data via investigations and literature reviews; design experiments.
• Analyze results, perform statistical analysis, and prepare reports and SOPs.
• Maintain data integrity and records; identify improvements to operations.
