Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton, North Wales, offers a 12.5‑month undergraduate internship starting 16 August 2027 in Mechanical Testing, Chemical, and Metallurgical areas. Qualifications

• Undergraduate placement; must remain an undergraduate for the duration.
• Studying Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related degree.
• Teamwork and adherence to processes.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of analytical methods and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Interface with operational teams and integrate with support functions.
• Gather data through investigations, experiments and literature reviews.
• Design and/or carry out experiments.
• Analyse and interpret results of technical work and testing.
• Perform statistical analysis of data generated.
• Follow general laboratory practices and COSHH requirements.
• Generate protocols, reports and SOPs.
• Maintain data integrity and records.
• Identify improvements to daily laboratory operations.
