Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton, Bristol is offering an internship for undergraduates. You will join the UK Materials and Processes team to work on materials testing, qualification projects, and data analysis within state‑of‑the‑art aerospace facilities.

This placement provides exposure to cross‑functional teams across Europe, a chance to contribute to real projects, and insight into engineering careers in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates for the entire duration of the placement.
• CV plus Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability.
• Studying towards Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical) or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science) degree.

Responsibilities

• Test/analyze materials and components using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
• Run qualification projects and determine testing requirements.
• Analyze results to ensure suppliers provide capable products.
• Support research activities on new materials or processes.
