Job summary

Airbus Broughton in North Wales is offering an undergraduate quality assurance internship for 12.5 months, starting 16 August 2027. The role is based in Broughton with hybrid options and a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole placement duration.

• Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality issues across Airbus sites.
• Ensure corrective and preventative actions are taken by the accountable department with cross‑functional teams.
• Deliver changes and promote best practices by working with Quality transnational teams to harmonise processes.
• Familiarise with Google Suite and big data tools to analyse non‑conformances and reduce issues.
• Develop knowledge of the wing product while working on a lineside team.
