Job summary

SumUp is expanding its network of self-employed Field Sales Partners in the UK. You will build your own business with backing from a fintech brand, delivering SumUp's payments ecosystem to local merchants and SMEs.

As a regional, field-based role, you will prospect at least 30 local SMEs daily, drive consultative sales, manage your territory and CRM, and convert conversations into merchant sign-ups with recurring revenue through hardware and software commissions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments.
• Ability to prospect and close in a commission-based model.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work without daily oversight.
• Excellent understanding of recurring revenue value and business impact.
• Knowledge of SME local business dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect a minimum of 30 local SMEs daily through face-to-face visits and outreach.
• Conduct consultative selling by analyzing merchant needs and presenting SumUp solutions.
• Own your designated territory and manage CRM to progress merchants from initial contact to onboarding.
• Create at least three meaningful sales conversations daily and convert 3–5 new partnerships weekly.
• Establish yourself as the local payments expert and trusted advisor.
