Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to drive new cyber security business across multiple verticals. You will engage C‑level executives and technical staff, expand existing customers, and lead a portfolio of Named Accounts with a focus on revenue growth.

You’ll leverage the Proofpoint Platform, collaborate with Systems Engineers and channel partners, and demonstrate strong value selling to protect customers from advanced threats.

Qualifications

• Experienced technology sales professional, with a focus on SaaS value‑based technologies.
• Experience within Cyber Security is an advantage.
• Proven track record of over‑achieving targets, net new logo achievements and capacity to leverage channel partnerships.
• Relentless attention to detail and a high level of activity with executive value selling (CISO, CIO, CMO).
• Experience of closing complex opportunities in the range of $100k - $1m.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic executive‑level relationships within Enterprise accounts across multiple industry verticals to drive long‑term partnership and growth.
• Secure new accounts and expand presence with existing customers by introducing the full security, compliance and information protection platform.
• Articulate and promote Proofpoint's value proposition to become a trusted advisor within the customer base.
• Work with aligned System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
• Partner with the channel ecosystem to gain access into new accounts.
• Deliver operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and pipeline progression.
