Job summary
Genesis Technology Services seeks a Telecommunications Field Engineer to cover UK-wide travel. You will install, configure, test and maintain multi-technology telecom systems across operator networks, engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
The role requires hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and documentation across 2G-5G environments. Ideal candidates have a telecommunications background with SAFETY certs, TEL003, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
- Must have UK work experience.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Ability to work nationwide and travel as required.
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Attend sites as scheduled with correct equipment and materials.
- Work independently or in small teams.
- Conduct installation, commissioning, configuration, integration, call testing and troubleshooting of transmission equipment.
- Ensure documentation (HOPs, certificates, surveys, H&S, CDM) is completed accurately.
- Adhere to safety procedures and manage data/tools for task completion.
