Job summary

Vodafone Field Engineering is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer in Hereford to install and maintain fixed and mobile network infrastructure. Expect rooftop work, site visits, and regular health and safety assessments as part of daily duties.

You will join a team responsible for delivering high-quality service across Vodafone’s UK networks, with opportunities for travel, shift patterns, and 24/7 callout alignment. SC clearance eligibility is required or planned.

Qualifications

• Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience gained through previous roles.
• Provision of service, fault diagnosis and rectification of relevant telecoms technologies.
• Mobile networking knowledge (3G/4G/5G) and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fixed and mobile network infrastructure.
• Travel to site locations and perform rooftop work as required.
• Adhere to quality and health & safety standards and meet performance targets.
• Work flexible hours and participate in 24/7 callout rota when needed.
• Operate safely in both indoor and outdoor environments.
