Job summary

Vodafone Field Engineering role based in North East London requires installation, maintenance and commissioning of fixed and mobile networks. The position involves rooftop work and regular travel, with the expectation to participate in a 24/7 on-call rota as required.

Eligibility for UK SC clearance is essential. The role demands strong safety focus, good customer-facing skills and ability to work both in teams and independently to meet service targets.

Qualifications

• Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience.
• Provision of service, fault diagnosis and rectification of telecoms technologies (multi-vendor CPE, core transmission).
• Mobile networking technologies 3G/4G/5G and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain Vodafone network, products and services to Vodafone standards.
• Regular climbing and rooftop work as part of field engineering activities.
• Adhere to HSE rules and safety standards at all times.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
