Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Development Building Consultant UK wide. You will manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from initial assessment to repairs, developing your capability in diagnosis, mitigation and repair solutions.

You’ll work with experienced consultants and service providers, combining technology-led analysis with hands-on site experience to grow within a specialist technical discipline and build a career pathway.

Qualifications

• Qualifications toward building certification partnerships (e.g. MCIOB/MRICS/MICE).
• Experience or training in identifying structural defects and subsidence.
• Understanding of diagnosis, mitigation and repair strategies for buildings.
• Experience in insurance claims handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from initial assessment to repairs.
• Develop capability in diagnosing building movement and mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate with experienced consultants and service providers to resolve claims.
• Balance technology-led analysis with hands-on site experience for skill growth.
