Job summary
ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Site Installation Manager for UK-wide deployment on engineering, automation and logistics projects. You will own site operations, ensuring safe, efficient installations across customer sites while coordinating with Project Managers, customers and engineering teams.
The role involves significant travel and extended site placements, with an opportunity to progress within the group and into higher-level programmes.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing installation activities in engineering, automation, manufacturing or similar environments.
- Ability to lead large installation teams and coordinate contractors.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all contractors on site.
- Liaise with Project Managers and track project progress.
- Monitor installation activities to keep projects on schedule.
- Serve as on-site point of contact for customers.
- Lead regular site meetings and communications.
- Identify and resolve installation and operational issues.
- Perform safety audits and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Enforce company and site procedures; produce progress reports.
- Manage large teams (up to 100 engineers) during major installations.
- Develop installation resource to reduce contractor reliance.
