Job summary

Unknown is seeking an experienced solar/renewable energy sales professional to grow the UK utility-scale project portfolio. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships and manage opportunities through the sales process to contract award.

Working across the UK, you will coordinate bids, engage with developers, investors and landowners, and collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver competitive proposals while supporting pricing and contract reviews.

Qualifications

Substantial experience in sales, business development or project development within renewable energy.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK.
Develop relationships with developers, investors, landowners and other key stakeholders.
Manage existing client accounts while building a strong pipeline of new business.
Coordinate bids, tenders, pre-qualification questionnaires and invitations to tender.
Work with technical, legal and commercial colleagues to prepare competitive project proposals.
Support pricing, budgeting, commercial negotiations and contract reviews.
Monitor the sales pipeline and produce accurate forecasts and management reports.
Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to the company’s UK growth strategy.
Attend client meetings, conferences and renewable energy industry events.
