Job summary

Eaton is seeking a UPS Field Service Engineer to join our UK team. You will maintain and repair UPS systems for customers, ensuring reliability and safety in line with Eaton standards across diverse sites.

Travel nationwide within the UK, diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, set up remote monitoring software, and communicate with stakeholders. A HNC or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required; UPS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Three-phase electrical installation/maintenance knowledge.
• UPS systems experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on UPS systems.
• Demonstrate understanding of on-line and line-interactive UPS systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on the installed base.
• Perform repairs on all UPS types, including parallel configurations.
• Set up and configure remote monitoring software.
• Communicate with stakeholders on technical matters.
• Adhere to anti-static policies and ECN process.
