Job summary

Ajax Systems is seeking a seasoned leader to build and grow the UK Technical Managers team. You will implement a comprehensive training program for the UK market and work closely with distributors and installers to promote Ajax solutions.

You will travel ~50% to engage customers, test features, and develop training content, shaping product roadmaps based on field feedback and market needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading field-based technical teams.
• Industry background in alarm systems, video surveillance, security, telecommunications, or related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, intrusion systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Hands-on experience in designing and installing security systems.
• Experience delivering offline and online technical training to technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel for business trips, trade shows, and other events.
• Self-motivated and independent with a proactive work approach.

Responsibilities

• Developing and growing a team of Technical Managers in the UK.
• Implementing a comprehensive Ajax Systems training program for the UK market.
• Provide product feedback and requests.
• Introduce product roadmaps and new features for distributors and installers.
• Visit key customers, promote solutions, in collaboration with the BDMs.
• Teach technical staff at distributors and dealers to increase knowledge.
• Test product features and write technical documentation for new products.
• Analyze customer needs in collaboration with sales.
• Create vision and provide direction.
• Develop training materials for the Technical Sales Training Team.
• Travel around 50% of the time.
