Job summary

SolaX Power in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist installer clients, partners and internal teams across the UK market. The role focuses on delivering pre-sales, in-process and after-sales technical support and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical engineering or related fields, strong client-facing skills and experience with PV systems, inverters or energy storage.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy or related fields.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to resolve technical issues.
• Helpline or call center experience, or hands-on inverter/battery installation preferred.
• Experience in PV, inverters, or energy storage systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support for installer clients in the UK market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer visits, troubleshooting and market research.
• Create and maintain detailed service documentation including reports and logs.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.
