Job summary

BJAK is seeking an Operations Lead for the UK to own the operational backbone of the business. You will ensure daily operations, internal systems, and customer-facing execution run smoothly and scale effectively, reporting closely to the CEO.

This hybrid UK role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on process improvement to drive efficiency and growth. You will build systems, lead teams, and step in during escalations to protect service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading operations and admin teams in tech or fast-scaling environments.
• Hands-on mindset with ability to solve problems directly, not just delegate.
• Strong organisational and execution skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and bringing structure to fast-moving situations.
• Ability to drive cross-functional execution without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute operational strategies that support growth in the UK market.
• Manage day-to-day operations across customer service, admin, and internal workflows.
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Own process improvements, bottlenecks, automation, and cost/speed gains.
• Lead customer support and handle high-stakes or escalated cases.
