Job summary

Addition Solutions in London is seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Specialist to own UK tech operations, including support, incident investigation, QA, and vendor liaison. You will work with customer experience, engineering, product and project-management teams across the UK and US.

The role covers investigation, root-cause analysis, release quality, and UK-specific requirements feeding into product development. Hybrid working from London is offered with collaborative cross-team exposure.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience within technical operations, technical support or technical services.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and investigation experience.
• Ability to run database queries, read technical logs and diagnose issues independently.
• Experience authoring and managing tickets through engineering tooling (e.g., Jira).
• Experience working with engineering teams on investigations and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for UK issues.
• Run queries, review logs and perform investigations to identify root causes.
• Manage UK bugs through Jira, including triage, investigation and escalation.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the UK customer experience team.
• Execute and sign off UK product UAT releases and QA checks.
• Coordinate with US engineering and product teams on release timing and quality.
• Test UK-specific mobile app releases and product functionality.
• Feed UK requirements into the product development pipeline.
• Document technical processes and contribute to the knowledge base.
