Job summary

XPO Global Forwarding in the UK is seeking a Head of Customs based in Crick or Heathrow. You will lead the UK & IE Customs function with a team of 23, shaping strategic direction and delivering compliant, efficient, customer-focused services.

As a member of the UK leadership team, you will develop people, drive automation, manage budgets, and align the department with the wider business goals, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience in customs, international trade, or freight forwarding.
• Significant senior leadership experience across multiple locations.
• Deep knowledge of UK and Ireland customs regulations, HMRC processes.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage budgets.
• Experience driving automation and digital solutions.
