Job summary

Taskrabbit is seeking a General Manager to lead the UK country team, drive market growth, manage the country P&L and hit targets for net revenue and contribution margin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape market strategy and craft compelling propositions for customers and taskers.

You'll own the UK go-to-market, oversee marketing, partnerships and tasker operations, and work with global teams to localize Taskrabbit’s offering.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience driving commercial growth.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with data and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance creative thinking with strong business judgment and analytical skills.
• Problem-solving in data-rich and data-poor environments.
• Role includes travel within the UK and occasional travel to the US.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for the UK business
• Shape the UK strategy to deliver core commercial goals including revenue and contribution margin
• Accountable for both sides of the marketplace: generating demand as well as ensuring strong supply health and task fulfilment
• Responsible for value propositions on both sides of the marketplace
• Directly manage the UK team that covers marketing, partnerships and tasker operations
• Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities that drive UK market growth
• Own local go-to-market strategy, including city-specific GTM strategies and localisation
• Drive local marketing ideas, initiatives, and channels in partnership with the global marketing team
• Identify and pursue potential external partners to help grow the UK business, with the global partnerships team
