Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a General Manager to head the UK business, reporting to the Group, and to guide a stable, profitable operation with an established team and extensive industry experience. This office-based role includes occasional international travel, and a strong handover from the current General Manager.

You will lead growth in a mature UK market, manage a multi-faceted leadership team, and own a circa £10m turnover P&L while maintaining strong client engagement throughout

Qualifications

• Degree level education; Sales & Operational management experience considered at the right level.
• Experience managing a multi-million-pound P&L.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all leadership elements for the business (Full P&L circa £10m t/o) including coaching and motivating.
• Be working with and developing the team of direct reports as well as overseeing the development of all indirect reports.
• Carry out regular market analysis to ensure we are aware of our competition and economic indicators that may impact our business.
• Help us drive into new market focus areas and ensure we maximise growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate operational excellence and manage our inventory, logistics and assembly teams.
