Job summary

Egis Group is recruiting a Fleet Operations Manager to lead our UK fleet operations with focus on safety, compliance and efficiency. The role covers all fleet and transport activities, reporting and governance across key UK sites.

You will drive procurement, telematics deployment and driver hours compliance while coordinating with Transport Managers, suppliers and maintenance providers to promote continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• National CPC in Road Haulage Operations is required.
• Eligible to act as Transport Manager with UK licensing knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and clean HGV/LCV background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all UK fleet and transport operations.
• Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements and DVSA guidance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, MOTs and roadworthiness.
• Manage fleet performance, budgets and efficiency.
• Lead procurement and fleet specification decisions.
• Implement telematics to improve safety and performance.
• Monitor Drivers' Hours and tachograph compliance.
• Manage Transport Managers, suppliers and maintenance providers.
• Produce fleet performance reports and support audits.
