Egis seeks a Fleet Operations Manager to lead UK fleet operations, ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency across transport activities. The role covers vehicle maintenance, procurement, and telematics implementation for continuous improvement, with emphasis on UK legislation and Operator Licence compliance.

Candidate will manage drivers, Transport Managers and suppliers, delivering performance reports and supporting audits as part of a safety‑driven, operationally excellent fleet function.

Qualifications

• National CPC in Road Haulage Operations is required.
• Eligible to act as a professionally competent Transport Manager.
• Full Current UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage all UK fleet and transport operations.
• Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements, DVSA regulations and Traffic Commissioner guidance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, MOTs, roadworthiness and defect management.
• Manage fleet performance, utilisation, budgets and operational efficiency.
• Lead vehicle procurement, replacement programmes and fleet specifications.
• Implement telematics and digital fleet solutions to improve safety and performance.
• Monitor Drivers' Hours, tachograph compliance, Driver CPC and licence checks.
• Manage Transport Managers, suppliers and maintenance providers.
• Produce fleet performance reports and support audits and regulatory inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement across fleet operations.
