Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a UK Controller to lead month-end close, management reporting, and regulatory compliance within a multi-entity finance function. The role requires deep UK GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP knowledge and experience with multi-currency consolidation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to take ownership of the month-end close, management reporting, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. The role offers a unique chance to support our client’s strategic growth and operational excellence in a fast-paced industry.Based in a flexible location, you will work closely with senior leadership and external providers to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across a range of accounting functions.**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Your duties as the UK Controller will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:* Oversee and independently manage the UK month-end close and management account preparation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.* Maintain and reconcile multi-entity, multi-currency books, supporting group consolidation and managing FX revaluations and translations.* Resolve accounting issues related to ERP systems, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and FX or CTA account treatments, working closely with IT and software providers.* Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS, and US GAAP standards in all reporting activities.* As the UK Controller, you will coordinate UK VAT, payroll accounting, statutory reporting, and liaise with external agencies.**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the UK Controller, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:* A Degree or higher level in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)* Proven experience as the sole controller within a technology company, covering day-to-day accounting, reporting, and issue resolution.* Extensive practical experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, including consolidation and FX management.* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102, IFRS, and US GAAP, with the ability to assess functional currency and FX revaluation questions.* Experience investigating and resolving ERP issues affecting month-end processes.**WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?*** Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, innovative technology environment* Play a key role in shaping financial processes and reporting standards* Collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team* Competitive remuneration package and flexible working arrangementsKey Words: *UK Controller / accounting management / multi-entity / multi-currency / UK GAAP / IFRS / US GAAP / ERP / VAT / statutory reporting / FX / consolidation / financial reporting / performance management*\"Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd (HRS) is an Equal Opportunities employer.
