Job summary

The CFO HQ in Farnborough invites applications for a Financial Controller on a 9-month contract. You will own the UK finance function, reporting to the Finance Director, with two finance team members to lead.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and group reporting within a global context. The ideal candidate is a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with manufacturing experience, strong analytical ability and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• You will be a qualified accountant with manufacturing experience and strong management reporting.
• Experience using OneStream and Dynamics AX/D365 is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK finance function and manage two finance team members.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary in OneStream.
• Lead budgets and forecasts and monitor EBITDA and net working capital.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory accounts preparation.
• Ensure timely VAT and other statutory returns and oversee payroll and insurance renewals.
• Drive improvements in reporting, systems, processes and controls.
