Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a UK Financial Controller to own UK accounting operations remotely. The role also supports group consolidation and financial processes for a UK-based, clinical technology company.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the UK Financial Controller will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintain the UK general ledger, ensuring accurate coding and complete supporting documentation.
• Own the UK close calendar and management-accounting pack, delivering accurate results within deadlines.
• Prepare the UK VAT return package and coordinate payroll inputs with the specialist provider.
• Support the US Controller with group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and statutory-to-group accounting adjustments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the UK Financial Controller we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
• Proven industry experience in UK GAAP/FRS 102 and UK VAT preparation.
• A working knowledge and practical experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and ERP systems.
