Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is seeking a UK-wide Field Engineer to service, maintain, diagnose and repair industrial robotic systems across multiple sites. You will predominantly work with ABB, FANUC and KUKA equipment, performing planned maintenance and addressing faults to keep production lines running.

The role requires diagnosing electrical, mechanical and software-related issues, troubleshooting controllers and networking, and willingness to travel across the UK with occasional overnight

Qualifications

• Proven experience with industrial robots in service/maintenance/automation.
• Knowledge of ABB, FANUC and KUKA robots and controllers.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical and software faults.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on industrial robotic systems and automation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve robot breakdowns, electrical faults, mechanical issues, and programming-related problems.
• Service and maintain ABB, FANUC, and KUKA robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot robot controllers, servo systems, safety circuits, fieldbus networks, and end-of-arm tooling
