Job summary

Fidelis Resourcing Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Robotics and Mechatronics. The role requires home-based work with UK-wide travel to customer sites for on-site servicing and installations.

You will bring a background in Mechatronics/Electronics, the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment, and a track record of building strong customer relationships. A higher engineering qualification is required, and a company car is provided.

Qualifications

• Higher qualification (HND or above) in Engineering.
• Background in Mechatronics and/or Electronics.
• Knowledge of automation in the food industry is desirable.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Strong credentials in engaging customer stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, clear communicator with customer-relations focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and corrective action planning on equipment at customer sites.
• Work with customer contacts to build strong, proactive relationships.
• Lead training and development programmes with customer operatives and maintenance staff.
• Build strong working relationships across the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Advocate the company’s commitment to excellence in customer service throughout the journey.
• Represent the company on-site as an ambassador, upholding culture and values.
