Job summary

Osprey Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to grow UK sales of hydraulic fittings, adapters and accessories. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities and achieve growth targets while travelling to customer sites and events across the UK.

You will manage accounts, develop a territory plan and work with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in business-to-business sales, ideally within hydraulic components, fluid power or industrial products.
• Proven track record of winning new business, managing accounts and hitting sales targets.
• Understanding of hydraulic fittings, adapters and their applications, or ability to learn quickly.
• Confident with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with eye for profitable growth opportunities.
• Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently or in a wider team.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK for customer visits and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales across the UK by promoting hydraulic fittings, adapters and accessories.
• Develop new business with distributors, OEMs and industrial customers.
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet revenue targets.
• Understand customer applications and coordinate with internal technical teams.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate within pricing guidelines to convert enquiries into orders.
• Coordinate with customer service, operations and supply chain to ensure on-time fulfilment.
• Maintain CRM records and report on opportunities, forecasts, market trends.
• Represent the company at UK trade shows and industry events.
