Osprey Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking an office-based sales professional to handle enquiries, qualify needs, quote accurately and convert to orders. You will also perform outbound calls to grow the order book and support existing customers.

You don’t need prior experience with pressure gauges or regulators; full product training is provided and you’ll work with experienced colleagues to learn a technical product range and deliver sound advice on each sale.

Qualifications

• Experience in telephone-based sales roles (telesales, internal sales, sales support).
• Confident on the telephone and comfortable making outbound calls.
• Accurate and methodical with attention to detail on pricing and paperwork.
• Willing to learn a technical product range and ask questions when unsure.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound telephone and email enquiries, identifying product specifications.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations and move them through to order.
• Make proactive outbound calls to generate orders and build a pipeline.
• Process orders accurately with confirmation of specs, quantity and price.
• Build product knowledge across gauges, regulators and associated lines.
• Refer complex enquiries to technical colleagues and follow resolution.
• Support distributor and OEM accounts with pricing and lead times.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, quotations and opportunities.
• Follow up leads from website and marketing campaigns.
• Record reasons for lost business and feed intelligence back to the team.
• Work to agreed call activity, quotation and order intake targets.
