Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking an Account Development Representative to drive growth across the UK and EMEA. You will identify and engage prospects, generate qualified opportunities, and work closely with Sales to build a strong pipeline.

You will be the first touchpoint for future customers, representing Avalara's AI-powered tax compliance solutions and collaborating with Sales and Marketing for campaigns and territory strategies. A fast-paced, target-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales development, business development or customer-facing role (SaaS).
• Experience establishing communication with French-speaking prospects.
• Curiosity and proactive outbound prospecting.
• Ability to quickly understand customer needs and articulate value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers across the UK and EMEA to generate qualified opportunities.
• Partner with Sales to build a strong pipeline.
• Serve as first point of contact for Avalara's AI-powered tax compliance solutions.
• Prospect and engage with potential customers in France via phone, email, and social channels.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify high-value sales opportunities.
• Book and schedule meetings for Account Executives and maintain CRM records.
