Job summary
AECOM is seeking an Associate Director - Environmental and Ecological Compliance Lead to provide technical leadership for ECoW and EnvCoW services across the UK & Ireland. This role can be based in multiple UK offices and involves building a network of specialist delivery partners for scalable environmental compliance on major infrastructure projects.
You will lead technical authority and quality assurance, support planning and environmental consent commitments, and help grow the environmental
Qualifications
- Experience delivering Environmental and / or Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) services on major infrastructure, utilities or development projects.
- Strong understanding of construction-phase ecological and environmental compliance requirements.
- Experience working directly with contractors and construction delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as AECOM's UK&I lead for ECoW and EnvCoW services.
- Lead verification of ECoW-related deliverables.
- Ensure projects are resourced, mobilised and delivered to quality standards.
- Provide expert advice on ecological risk management and environmental compliance.
